Consultation

15 minFace to Face or Virtual

Service Description

Your consultation is a vital part of your treatment journey and is designed to ensure that any treatment offered is safe, appropriate, and tailored to you. During your consultation, we will: 1.) Discuss your concerns, goals, and expectations 2.) Review your medical history and pre-consultation questionnaire 3.) Assess your skin, facial anatomy, or treatment area 4.) Talk through suitable treatment options, including benefits, risks, and alternatives 5.) Create a personalised treatment plan based on your needs A consultation does not obligate you to have treatment, and in some cases treatment may be postponed or declined if it is not deemed clinically appropriate or safe. Your safety, comfort, and confidence are always the priority, and you will have plenty of opportunity to ask questions and make an informed decision. Prescribing Consultation (Prescription Treatments Only) Some treatments, including botulinum toxin (Botox), are classed as prescription-only medicines (POMs) in the UK. By law, these treatments require a consultation with a qualified prescriber before treatment can take place. The prescribing consultation: 1.) Is carried out by a registered prescribing clinician 2.) Reviews your medical history, suitability, and treatment goals 3.) Confirms whether a prescription can be safely issued 4.) Must take place at least 48 hours before your treatment appointment, in line with current regulations. This consultation may be carried out remotely or in person, depending on clinical requirements. Treatment cannot go ahead without a valid prescription in place. Please note that a prescribing consultation does not guarantee treatment, and a prescription will only be issued if it is clinically appropriate and safe to do so. Your safety is always the priority, and this process ensures treatments are carried out responsibly, ethically, and in line with UK medical standards.
